Our Mission

The Mission of St. Martin District Council St. Vincent de Paul is:

Our mission is to serve the disadvantaged populace through home visits, food assistance, employment leads, rent, utilities and other outreach programs. We provide compassionate support to all individuals in need, regardless of race, origin, religion, age or gender. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul assists others in the spirit of humility and good will, inviting others to actively participate in assisting underprivileged population in the struggle against poverty.

St Martin District Council

The District Council is comprised of 17 conferences, nine of which are located throughout Clermont County. Seven others are located in Adams, Brown, Clinton, Highland, and Warren Counties.

All 17 conferences have food pantries or can provide food for the needy. When funds are available all will provide rent and utility assistance also. We operate two transitional homes (for homeless families) both are in Clermont County. We have a two family home in Milford and a single family dwelling in Withamsville. We take in families for a period of up to six weeks, rent free.

In addition to the food pantries we have two clothing give-aways a year. This generally attracts up to 1800 people. Most of our churches participate in a Giving Tree at Christmas and Thanksgiving meals for needly families.
